Hi, welcome to my webpage! My name is Aidan, and I'm a software developer located in Corvallis, Oregon. Currently, I'm a student at Oregon State University and am working towards earning a batchelor's in Computer Science. I love creating static web pages web applications, as well as developing desktop applications and games. When I'm not working, I enjoy playing the keyboard and playing with my cat.
In highschool, I was a member of my school's robotics team, where I programmed robots using Java, Kotlin, and Python. Additionally, our team participated in hackathons which made use of other languages such as JavaScript. I also became the Software-Team Leader where I taught incoming team members the fundimentals of programming.
I interned at Oregon State University's MPCL, where I built a GUI application that could edit a motion profile and then run that profile on a makeshift mechanical arm for testing. The app was written in Java, and sent commands to an Arduino chip which then excecuted the profile on a motor controller.
I worked as a contractor for an independent Corvallis-based software company called L8S Software, where I worked on a dynamic web application to manage inventory for a client. I used TypeScript and React on the client side, and used Rust and PostgreSQL on the server side.
